I have realized

over the past few months that I am no one’s first choice anymore. I feel like even the people closest to me are so distant. I am never invited, never called, never texted, and never thought of until I have to whine about it. It makes me sad. I don’t even know what to do, I am so far from my family and friends back home because I have no car and no one around here seems to even want me around. I am tired of having to force myself into people’s lives, I just will try to stay out of them. Hopefully someone will be there for me. I don’t understand, I feel like I do nothing but help people out and make them feel better about themselves and fix their problems and listen to their rants, but when I turn around and ask for some sort of comfort or recognition of my worth in their eyes they seem to disappear.

So, I guess I will just have to change. I guess no one wants to spend time with someone like me. So I will just change who “me” is.
